Coder module is introducing tests to detect errors in .po files.
At the least, translation_status should provide a notification that coder can be enabled to test the quality of translations.
Maybe on top of that we should introduce further notifications for translation status if coder detects errors. Maybe indicate the number of missing or broken strings for each translation.

Couldn't wait for this, so I posted Language Checker module, which utilizes potx.module for its checks.

@Boobaa: okay, but I think this makes more sense as part of the same module or as a full replacement for Translation status.
I've assigned you CVS access to Translation status in case you want to adapt your new module as a patch on Translation status and then if you wish take over maintenance of translation status.
