Description
When you have too many modules it is sometimes a pain trying to find one, or even the group in which it is. IMHO adding this options to the module list page could improve things a little:
- expand all temporarily (not saved in settings)
- expand all permanently (saved in settings)
- collapse all temporarily (not saved in settings)
- collapse all permanently (not saved in settings)
Thanks

Actually, there is another problem when you search. You just extracted a module and you see the name such as 'util' (i.e. the folder name). When you look for it, you just don't find it because the module is actually called 'Module Weights'. If the name 'util' is available, it would be great to have a Javascript used to search on that folder name instead of the module name. That way it would help greatly! Usually, I just end up looking in the .info file which tells me the package & module name, but still...

I will gladly incorporate your feature requests into this module if some one finds the time to submit a patch. i'll review and help fix it if some one gets the ball rolling..
Thanks.

The settings page now has Expand/Collapse all. And the two pages are cross-linked.

What I have done in this patch is to add a "directory" on the settings page that shows what modules are included in a package. The package name in that list is a link to the modules admin page (directly to that package) that will temporarily expand that package.

No comments, so committing to 6.x-2.x-dev.

Sorry for the lack of support Nancy, been quite busy here... 8-) Thank you for your effort. The directory is a good idea!
