Apply for Admin Pages

Last modified: June 14, 2009 - 19:07

If you have been helping out for a little while, have gotten a sense of how things operate and would like to be more involved with policy and organizational issues effecting Drupal documentation, you can be a documentation admin. Being a documentation admin is an extra commitment.

Submit an issue to the documentation issue queue. You should fill it out as follows:

  • Component: Apply to be documentation admin
  • Category: task
  • Leave the following at their defaults: Priority: normal, Assigned: Unassigned, and Status: active.
  • Title the issue something like: Request to be a documentation admin
  • In the issue body, introduce yourself and state why you'd like to be a docs admin. Keep in mind that most tasks can be done by anyone on Drupal.org so please be specific about why you want to be an admin rather than a docs team member.

We'll review your tracker to see the work you have done. If you are approved, you'll be assigned the documentation maintainer role. Either way, the issue will be updated to let you know.
