I am the maintainer of some contributed modules, Imagepicker and Ezmlm. I have recently become co-maintainer of Gotcha. The latter module deploys a DO input format on its page, a mechanism that I was not aware of until NancyDru pointed this out to me.
Having recently released development versions for D5 and D6, I would like to update the gotcha page to notify potential and current users of the changes in the dev versions.
Furthermore, having attended the DrupalCamp UK at Manchester last weekend where the importance of improved documentation was stressed by several speakers, I am taking this advice to heart and will seek to help out where I can.
I am a Linux sysadmin with over a decade of experience in deploying and maintaining web and mail servers so I should be able to chip in with guidance in this area.
I hope to hear from you soon,
hutch

The preferred way to deal with images on pages is to create an issue for the format to be temporarily toggled so you can work on it. The doc admin role is really meant for folks that are working extensively on the documentation on a regular basis.
